Emerson to Rename Journalism School After Anchorman Ron Burgundy
Well, it’s only for one day on December 4th, and it’s really just a stunt to publicize a screening of the sequel with one Will Ferrell in attendance (presumably in character) before the movie opens on December 20th.
We might argue that Ron Burgundy is a journalist like Greg Kelly is a journalist, which is to say not at all. But hey, this move worked, didn’t it? Check out all the media mentions.
The big questions: did you realize that the original Anchorman came out almost ten years ago? And does Paul Rudd win Movember or what?
(Insert “that’s kind of a big deal” and “stay classy” jokes here, because they definitely didn’t get old eight years ago.)
