ElleGirl May Be Dead Here, But It's Big in Canada
Er, at least, as a column for the Canadian editon of Elle. Seems the columnist, Tabatha Southey, has garnered four National Magazine Award nominations — an honor that has escaped Hachette titles of late in the U.S.
Explains Elle Canada editor Rita Silvan:
It’s ELLE Canada that got the nominations for our humour column which is called ELLE Girl. (You’re right it’s confusing!) As far as I know we still have two ELLE Girl products in Canada (ELLE Girl in English which is usually published once a year, a prom issue and ELLE Quebec in French).
