El Diario-La Prensa Promotes Two In The Editorial Department

The largest and longest running Spanish newspaper in New York,  El Diario-La Prensa, shook up their editorial department today with the appointment of Erica Gonzalez to executive editor and Carmen Villavicencio to managing editor.  Gonzalez has been with El Diario since 2006 when she served as opinion page editor and Villavicencio worked as the paper’s news editor prior to this promotion.  El Diario publisher Rossana Rosado has little doubt that the publication is in good hands with Gonzalez.
