Since all the talk about polling places last month made us look a little closer at our voting process, we’re now officially flat-out worried about Decision 2008. But according to an article on Voice by Terry Stone, it seems that Design for Democracy is making headway:
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s website will be publishing “best practice” examples of redesigned ballots and Election Day artifacts in 2007 for officials and designers as the starting point for a national conversation about election design.
