Illustrator Edel Rodriguez Pulls Off Unique Feat
"Cover of the Year" honors in Germany and now the U.S.
In yet another example of how beneficial the topic of Donald Trump can be for the media, Cuban-American artist Edel Rodriguez has followed a recent award in Germany for magazine “Cover of the Year” with a similar prize from the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME).
Above is Rodriguez’s illustration for the Nov. 12, 2016 issue of German weekly Der Spiegel. The cover was recently voted the country’s best of 2016 by a panel of 34 editors and creative directors.
Today, Rodriguez has claimed the equivalent stateside prize for the Oct.
