eBook Sales Up Slightly in November

The AAP has released their November estimates for the US book market, and the news was mixed Several market segments were down, including paperback and adult hardback, but some segments showed signs of growth.

eBook sales are up from last year and up slightly from October 2011 ($77m vs $72m), and so were religious books and downloaded audiobooks. But eBooks are also down from their peak of $80m in September.

This doesn’t worry me much; it is very likely that ebook sales will spike again in January, just like they did in past years.
