eBook Reading on the Rise As Print Book Reading Declines: Pew Research

The number of Americans who read eBooks is on the rise. Last year, 16 percent of all Americans ages 16 and older had read an eBook. Now it’s 23 percent, according to new research from Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project.

And this seems to be affecting print reading habits. Over the past year, the number of Americans aged 16 and older who read print books in fell from 72 percent of the population to 67 percent.
