For those who clicked over to Eater DC on Monday or today, you likely noticed some changes to its homepage. Adweek yesterday reported that site underwent a relaunch eight months after joining Vox Media.
According to Adweek:
“The new look is the culmination of editorial improvements and hires—including Bloomberg’s Ryan Sutton, Village Voice’s Robert Sietsema, Saveur’s Helen Rosner and editors in 27 cities—that the foodie brand has made since it became part of Vox Media eight months ago. “We have been building up our army in preparation for this relaunch,” said Amanda Kludt, Eater’s editor in chief.”
The redesigned site contains all the same savory and delicious information it did before yesterday – most of which is populated by Eater DC editor Missy Frederick – just reimagined using Vox Media’s Chorus platform.
