One award show done, another springs to take its place. The Southern California Bookseller’s Association announced the finalists for the SCBA Book Awards.
FBLA is thrilled to see that Wilshire Boulevard: Grand Concourse of Los Angeles by Kevin Roderick and J. Eric Lynxwiler is a non-fiction contender. Roderick blogs at the essential LAObserved. The publisher, Angel City Press, is a LA-based small press, as is Santa Monica Press who put out another nominee, L. A. Noir: The City as Character by Alain Silver and James Ursini.
