AT&T and Electronic Arts have signed a deal to bring their highly anticipated Spore Origins title to both the carrier’s wireless and broadband customers, according to MocoNews.

The report sai that the game has been designed specifically for mobile, and that it will be available exclusively on AT&T Wireless until September 4, 2008. “New customers to AT&T’s high-speed internet services, meanwhile, will get a free PC copy of the game,” the report said.

Spore Origins will then be released to other carriers on September 7. Will Wright’s Spore has been several years in the making, and so far looks to be a huge step forward in gaming innovation and a worthy successor to his prior mega-hits The Sims and SimCity.
