E-ink Is Planning to make 25 Million Screens in 2011

For the first time ever, E-ink has released some solid data on how many screens it has made.  E-ink Holdings held a shareholders meeting this week, and the CEO answered several questions from the attendees. According to sources, E-ink produced 10 million epaper screens in 2010.

E-ink is also going to expand its upstream e-ink capacity, coating production processes, and its rear-section module plant in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. It’s new production goal is 25 million screens.
