Disgruntled British Airway Customer Using Promoted Tweets to Complain About Lost Luggage

Lost luggage. Just thinking about it usually makes me irate, but I don’t often find solutions to my frustration as easily as this Twitter user, @HVSN. In a stroke of genius, he used Twitter’s promoted posts advertising platform to get his luggage back. He’s willing to continue to pay for ads until they find his luggage. Brilliant.

Evidently British Airways is not very good at Twitter or flame control. The airline took a while to respond, and didn’t even realize which customers were following them.

Further, the promotions have garnered @HVSN a following of even more unhappy flyers.
