Discovery Communications has promoted Gabriel Sauerhoff from vp, digital media distribution, to senior vp, digital distribution.
Sauerhoff has been with Discovery since 2010. He previously worked for Disney and ESPN Media.
“Propelling Discovery forward in the digital space is critical to our company’s long-term success,” said Discovery’s president of domestic distribution Eric Phillips, in a statement. “Gabe’s strategic expertise in driving new business with our digital partners will continue to be invaluable as we navigate an evolving pay TV business.”
