‘Day To Disconnect’ and is calling on people all over the world to disconnect from their cell phones and laptops for at least one hour on Sunday October 2, 2011. Will you join the revolution?

In this day and age we are all uber-connected—we’re glued to our computers at work and at home, and when we’re on the go we’ve got our mobile devices and cell phones to keep us updated on new emails, tweets and news.  If we don’t have access to phones or the Internet we feel naked and we only feel better once we’re reunited with our laptops and devices.  One group is saying, “Enough is enough!”

Rabbi Zechariah Wallerstein of Ohr Naava has launched a new initiative—it’s called the ‘Day To Disconnect’ and is calling on people all over the world to disconnect from their cell phones and laptops, social media and emails for at least one hour on Sunday October 2, 2011.
