Dell Streak Mini-Tablet-Phone Pre-sale Ordering Begins August 12 - I'm Passing on This One
The Dell Streak’s U.S. debut was supposed to be last month. July came and went without any info from Dell except for a “tell me when I can pre-order” web page.
I was very interested in the Streak a few months ago. But, when it became clear that it would ship with an ancient version of Android OS (1.6) and that its 3G would only be tuned for AT&T, I lost interest in the Streak. If it were a true tablet (which I’m defining as having a screen of 7-inches or larger), I might be tempted to plunk down some case for the Streak.
