DealBreaker's Levin to Pen Q&A Column in New York Observer
Bess Levin, editor of DealBreaker.com, will be writing a business Q&A column for the New York Observer, FishbowlNY has learned. She will continue to edit DealBreaker while writing the weekly column on the side.
The first column, an interview with hedge-fund manager Jim Chanos, an Observer spokeswoman told FishbowlNY. His firm, Kynikos Associates, exclusively short-sells overvalued securities. He famously took a short position in disgraced energy firm Enron in 2000, riding the stock down as accounting irregularities surfaced before the company kicked the bucket in 2001.
