‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ Stars Back The CW Series at Comic-Con With Facebook Mentions

The CW promoted upcoming series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow at Comic-Con International: San Diego earlier this month, with help from its cast and the Facebook Mentions application.

The CW promoted upcoming series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow at Comic-Con International: San Diego earlier this month, with help from its cast and the Facebook Mentions application.

The series debuts on the broadcast network next year, and Bree Nguyen, who works on media partnerships, entertainment for the social network, said in a Facebook Media blog post that the trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was viewed more than 2 million times and shared nearly 50,000 times.

The trailer was posted on the series’ page and shared by stars Stephen Amell, Brandon Routh, Candice Patton, Ruth Connell and Katie Cassidy using Mentions, Facebook’s app for public figures.

According to Nguyen, the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow page tallied 22,000 more likes during the release of the trailer and 51,000 overall.
