DC Journo Dads Among Those Honored By National Father's Day Committee

The National Father’s Day Committee held their 68th annual “Father of the Year” awards lunch today in New York, emceed by MSNBC’s Chris Matthews. Recipients ranged from Michael Krzyzewski (“Coach K”) to Gen. David Patraeus, who was not in attendance. Also honored was ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, who missed the pre-lunch news conference due to some weather delays.

WebNewser caught up with Matthews above. What we learned- he doesn’t watch a whole lot of TV, but does listen to Fox in the car, and he thinks President Obama’s honeymoon has “crested.”
