Daylife Adds Ex-Salon Head Chris Neimeth, Marc Hedlund

Smart-content platform Daylife hopes it got a little bit smarter with the additions of former Salon Media Group president and CEO Chris Neimeth and former Wesabe CEO Marc Hedlund to its executive team.
Neimeth comes aboard as chief commercial officer, responsible for sales, marketing, client services, business development, finance, and administration.
And new chief product officer Hedlund will oversee engineering, operations, and product development for the Daylife platform and its Smart Media suite.

Daylife CEO Upendra Shardanand said:

We’re thrilled to welcome Chris and Marc to Daylife. They bring a wealth of industry experience and expertise, and will be invaluable as we continue to build our platform for content curation, discovery, and delivery.

Neimeth added:

Daylife is defining a new and necessary value proposition for digital media: better storytelling and deeper engagement with greater efficiency. I look forward to driving growth and extending Daylife’s leadership position.

And Hedlund said:

I’ve had the chance to watch Daylife’s growth as an advisor, and I am incredibly impressed with the product, team and business they’ve built. I can’t wait to become a part of it. David Cohen is editor of Adweek's Social Pro Daily.
