Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) threw his hat into the 2016 ring this morning at Liberty University, which was plenty of time for the trolls to come out in full force.
Beginning at midnight Sunday evening, Cruz officially announced his candidacy on Twitter:

Right off the bat, the Internet noticed that the domain name tedcruz.com was not, in fact, owned by Cruz. It didn’t stop there.
