In an earlier post I talked about Ellen Lupton’s online game that demonstrates what happens when bad things happen to “good characters”. This seems to be a case where bad characters happen to good (let’s give them the benefit of the doubt here, shall we?) businesses. The streets of NYC abound with examples of unfortunate signage, so much so the NY Times wrote an article about it a few weeks ago. I would link to that article, but surely it’s been relegated to their paid archive by now, so what’s the point.
