Crain's Hires New Editor; Previous Ed to Pen Book

Xana Antunes, a longtime veteran of business journalism, will take over as editor of Crain’s New York Business on October 6, replacing Greg David who’s been with the paper for almost its entire 23-year existence. David will continue to oversee editorial and op-ed pages, write his twice-a-month column and host Crain’s Breakfast Forums.

David declined to comment on the hire, referring us to publisher Jill Kaplan, but told FishbowlNY that he’s considering writing a book about the New York economy.
