Craig's list: Why not like me as James Bond?
Daniel Craig, pilloried in the press an online for being to rugged, too blonde or too-not-Bond, finally spoke out to Reuters about the waves of wailing criticism against him.
“I’ve been trying to give 110 percent from the beginning and maybe after that (the criticism), I was trying to give 115 percent,” he said. “But I mean, I’m giving everything I can.”
Undaunted, the Bond-boycott website www.craignotbond.com immediately issued a stern condemnation, pointing out Pierce Brosnan regularly gave it 122% and that Sean Connery once gave it a still-unmatched 135%, albeit in a strong headwind.
