CQ Roll Call Snags Ellis, Ups Ives
CQ Roll Call filled two top editorial posts today, naming David Ellis of Bloomberg News as CQ Roll Call’s VP of News, and promoting Director of Legal Products Benton Ives to Editor-in Chief of CQ Weekly.
Ellis is currently the editor at large at Bloomberg’s Washington Bureau, where he has written about government transparency and whistleblowers at the Justice Department. He previously worked for Moneywise in the UK, as well as TIME and People.
Ives started his career at CQ in 2002, and had served as an Editorial Assistant and Economics Editor before becoming Director of Legal Products.
