CPJ Issues Warning About Trump

"A Trump presidency represents a threat to press freedom unknown in modern history."

Just in case you needed another reason to worry if Donald Trump is elected president, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has issued an unprecedented warning about him.

“Donald Trump, through his words and actions as a candidate for president of the United States, has consistently betrayed First Amendment values,” read the statement from CPJ chairman Sandra Mims Rowe.

“A Trump presidency would represent a threat to press freedom in the United States, but the consequences for the rights of journalists around the world could be far more serious,” continued Sims Rowe.
