Cowboy Bob Grows a Beard

CBS’ Bob Schieffer doesn’t have a stake in “Goatee Gamble,” the National League Championship Series bet between NBC’s Chuck Todd and ABC’s Jake Tapper, but he’s growing a beard anyway.

The “Face the Nation” anchor surprised colleagues in the Washington bureau Monday with the new look after spending a week off in Texas. The cowboy beard will make its debut in DC on the stage of the Rock and Roll Hotel tonight for “Karaoke in the Capitol.”
