Courier-Journal to Add 75-100 Jobs for Gannett Hub

Yesterday we told you about Gannett’s decision to create five “hubs” in order to consolidate all its page production nationwide, including its flagship USA Today. Today comes a few more details announced by one of the new hubs, in Louisville, Ky.

The Courier-Journal reported today the paper will add 75 to 100 positions in management, newspaper layout and page design. The hiring process could begin as early as next year, and The Courier-Journal will be responsible for 21 of the 78 Gannett publications, including The Indianapolis Star and The Cincinnati Inquirer.
