Corinne Perkins is a freelance success story, with her relationship with Reuters beginning in 2000, when the Australian native worked as a freelance editorial assistant during the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. In 2005, she joined full time as editor in charge of the Singapore global pictures desk. Two years later, she would make the move to Toronto, where she served as online visuals editor.
She has remained there until now, but will be moving soon to New York to take on a new role as North America editor, Reuters Pictures, where she will be responsible for Reuters’ Pictures team in the United States and Canada.
