Cooper Union and the Type Directors Club Collaborate on Type Design Certification Program

The Cooper Union has just announced a collaboration between their Continuing Education Department and the Type Directors Club, who will be working together on the first US-based certification program for typeface design. Type@Cooper will begin in the fall, running two nights per week between October and December. The certification is divided into three terms which will fill an entire year, wherein there will be a mix of hands-on workshops, lectures, and research projects, as well as guest speakers coming in throughout the terms.
