Congressman Attacked On His Own Facebook Page

While companies are regularly attacked on their Facebook pages, it's not every day that you see U.S. Congressmen flamed on their own Facebook page, which is exactly what's happening to Representative Patrick McHenry.

While companies are regularly attacked on their Facebook Pages, it’s not every day that you see U.S. Congressmen flamed on their Facebook page, which is exactly what’s happening to Representative Patrick McHenry.

While the North Carolina Republican wasn’t exactly caught cheating on his wife (as other representatives have), he is being attacked for calling Elizabeth Warren a liar.

According to the Huffington Post, the Republican representative had the incorrect facts about the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which Warren oversees.

McHenry contributed to the attacks on Warren and now supporters of Warren are going crazy on McHenry’s Facebook Page.

Every minute another user posts to his Facebook wall. Sara Livermore writes:

He isn’t going to apologize, because stuff like this doesn’t even register on his warped morality meter, and he doesn’t care the slightest bit whether he gets re-elected because it’s all about the cushy lobbying job his masters will give him when he’s done playing House. I guess when you have that kind of $$ waiting for you, you don’t need respect.

All the responses were a result of McHenry saying four words: “You’re making this up”. What’s not made up is the masses of people now protesting via his Facebook Page.
