CondeNast’s We Are Refining Our Strategy


Conde Nast’s CondeNet is pushing its killer app,, via Facebook. In October 2007, CondeNet was one of the twelve landmark partners committed to Facebook Ads, the social network’s ad system. Chris Gonzalez, executive editor of, had the following to say in response to the question, How is fitting into CondeNet’s social networking strategy? ”CondeNet realizes the importance of social networking in our users’ lives, whether it be on Flip,, or Epicurious,” Gonzales emailed FishbowlNY. ”We will continue to pursue social networking strategies as appropriate for each brand and its corresponding audience. In the case of Flip, we are refining our strategy as the landscape shifts so that we follow our users to wherever they and their friends are. We know that our audience is looking for great tools.
