Columbia Journalism School to Launch New York Journalism Website
Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism has announced that it will launch a new website, New York World, devoted to reporting about accountability for government operations. The project will employ around six recent graduates (we approve — recent graduates need jobs!) as well as current students and faculty.
New York World will serve both as a site, where citizens can learn more about how services are allotted and tax dollars are spent, and as a news service, providing stories, data and other information to local news providers.
