CNN’s Adam Aigner-Treworgy to CBS News

cbs newsWe hear that congrats are in order after receiving a tip that CBS News VP and Washington Bureau Chief Chris Isham announced to staff via an internal memo this morning that CNN White House Producer Adam Aigner-Treworgy was named White House Producer for CBS This Morning and the Washington bureau.

Aigner-Treworgy has been with CNN for the past 2.5 years and before that was with NBC News.

CBS This Morning and the Washington Bureau are pleased to announce that Adam Aigner-Treworgy will join CBS News as the White House producer for our morning coverage starting June 4th.

Adam joins us from CNN, where he was a White House producer for the past two and a half years and covered President Obama’s reelection campaign. The CNN team won an Emmy for their 2012 election night coverage. Most recently he helped lead CNN’s coverage of the rollout of the Affordable Care Act and he was a writer and producer on the team that launched CNN’s “John King USA.”
