CNN to Cut Jobs in LA and Across America

CNN will eliminate more than 50 jobs nationwide in the run-up to the holiday season. Planned cuts include no less than four photojournalists, as well as a number of jobs in the network’s research department. CNN’s various “libraries” are consolidating in Atlanta, meaning cuts in New York and possibly DC. The Wrap reports that CNN’s Los Angeles bureau will lose one photojournalist. We’ve reached out to CNN to confirm if anyone else will be let go here in LA but have yet to hear back.
