CNN Readying App for Android Tablets
Lost among the hoopla over that other news app that launched Wednesday, CNN announced that it will launch a CNN App for Android-powered tablets.
The announcement was made at Google’s press event Wednesday at its headquarters in Mountain View, Calif., to preview its Honeycomb 3.0 platform.
The CNN App for Android tablets will be compatible with the Honeycomb platform at launch, and features will include iReport capture and upload functionality, live and on-demand video, and CNN Radio updates.
