QndoSM7JCNN Politics has added award-winning reporter, Jodi Enda, announced CNN Politics executive editor, Rachel Smolkin, on Tuesday.

Beginning today, Enda will serve as assistant managing editor for special projects, overseeing CNN Politics’ new long-form division.

Below is the full announcement from Smolkin.

All,

I am delighted to welcome Jodi Enda as assistant managing editor for special projects at CNN Politics Digital.

Jodi will oversee our new long-form division, which will complement the terrific shorter and medium-term enterprise work from Steven Sloan’s great team.

Jodi brings an impressive array of journalism experience. She has been a White House, political and congressional correspondent for Knight Ridder Newspapers, a national correspondent for the Philadelphia Inquirer, a senior writer and editor at the Pew Research Center, and a senior contributing writer at American Journalism Review.

She has a long list of awards that speak to her impressive range — among them back-to-back Merriman Smith Awards for deadline reporting at the White House, the Mirror Award for in-depth reporting on the media industry and the Keystone Press Award for investigative reporting.

Jodi starts today. Please join me in welcoming her to CNN.
