CNN Films' 'Life Itself' Honored By Washington DC Area Film Critics Association
Life Itself, the CNN film depicting the life and career of Roger Ebert, was honored yesterday by the Washington Area DC Film Critics’ Association.
The film, directed by Steve James, was named “Best Documentary” of 2014 by the DC based organization.
The documentary, which is in contention for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, chronicles his lifework as a film critic, his mentoring of filmmakers, and his tumultuous relationship with Gene Siskel.
Life Itself will premiere January 4th at 9 PM and 11 PM ET.
