Rolls Out ‘NetNet’ Content Section has rolled out NetNet, a new section focused on Wall Street gossip.

NetNet is being helmed by the site’s senior editor John Carney, a veteran of Wall Street–insider sites like Business Insider’s Clusterstock and DealBreaker. is clearly aiming to make NetNet a juicy must-read among traders and investors, as it will focus on “the high-jinx of Wall Street,” according to a press release.

“NetNet is where you’ll find insider stories, trader gossip and various tales of the foibles of the monied crowd, exactly what our hard-core set of financial readers and power brokers want,” said managing editor Allen Wastler.

To that end, Wastler has also lined up several veteran Wall Street journalists, including reporter Kate Kelly, stock commentator Herb Greenberg and producer Lori Ann LaRocco, author of the book Thriving in the New Economy: Lessons from Today’s Top Business Minds

NetNet’s launch comes as has been on a traffic roll. The site attracted an average of 5.4 million visitors per month from June through August, per comScore—it’s biggest summer ever according to CNBC officials.
