Clamor-ing to Get into Dov Charney's Underthings

Los Angeles-based American Apparel is apparently angry about an upcoming issue of Clamor Magazine, that “exposes” clothing company CEO Dov Charney, as a sexually harassing hater of unions.

The piece doesn’t break any new ground, but it does feature some funny American Apparel spoof ads, and it apparently hit close enough to home that AA threatened the activist magazine with legal action.

Journalists have tended to treat Charney like a well-intentioned autistic child. Sure, he’s been accused of making lewd remarks and, maybe, sometimes, getting naked in the office.
