Chrysler Hires New Media Strategies as Social Media AOR

Chrysler has hired New Media Strategies (NMS) as its social media marketing agency of record, the company said today.

NMS will develop and implement “social media strategies that align with the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram Truck brands advertising and marketing programs.”

The Chrysler social RFP has been out since early December. We’ve reached out to Chrysler PR and will update this post with more information as it comes.

UPDATE: Dianna C. Gutierrez, Lead, Brand Newsroom/Marketing Communications at Chrysler, told PRNewser NMS was chosen in part because of their “ability to collaborate with each of our bands, and their reputation in the industry.” She declined to comment on budget.
