Chrome Web Store Gets New Section for Offline Apps
Gone are the days of digging through the Chrome Store and trying to guess if an app has an offline mode; thanks to today’s update you won’t have to guess.
Google announced earlier today that the Chrome Web Store (about the only place to get Chrome apps) now has a specific section for offline apps. It covers both paid and free apps, games and utilities.
While this is relatively minor news, it says something about Google’s expectations of how people would use Chrome.
