New York Post Editor Headed to

A big change for Christina Amoroso

Here’s an intriguing career trajectory. Since graduating from Northwestern in 2009, Christina Amoroso has worked at one place: the New York Post.

She began, after internships at EW and New York magazine, as a web coordinator. From there, Amoroso progressed to features reporter, Post Careers editor, Sunday deputy features editor, online features editor and deputy features editor. However, that is about to change in a big way, as Amoroso is jumping from the tabloid to Hearst. She will serve as executive lifestyle editor for

Amoroso will oversee’s fashion, beauty, food and fitness content. In her new role, she will be charged with increasing the output of original features and reporting across these beats.

“To be joining Cosmo is simply a dream come true,” said Amoroso. “I can’t wait to dive in and help the team as they continue to create compelling content that’s shareable and relevant to millennial women–who are now, more than ever, such a vital audience.”

Amoroso starts March 22 and will report to Amy Odell.
