Channel 9 Shuts "Eye"

WUSA is pulling the plug on its weekend political round-table show, “Eye on Washington.”
The show, anchored by WUSA (Channel 9) anchor Derek McGinty, is scheduled to air for the final time this weekend.
WUSA General Manager Allan Horlick said the decision was based on how best to direct newsroom resources. ” ‘Eye on Washington’ is a wonderful program, but its focus is largely national politics, and our mission is really serving the Washington community.
