Changes at 'Curve,' But Still Shining a Spotlight on the Lesbian Lifestyle

Curve, the 20-year-old publication targeting the lesbian audience, has new owners (Avalon Media) and a new editor-in-chief in Merryn Johns. But the magazine still targets a lesbian audience with information about family, travel, gay pride, and other topics of interest.

“I would like to change Curve a little bit, but our readership is and will continue to be aimed fairly and squarely at lesbians and women and men with a connection to the lesbian community,” Johns told Mediabistro for the latest “How to Pitch for PR” feature article.
