Chaku-Uta Tops 200 Million Full-Track Downloads in Japan

Chaku-Uta Full R, a full-track mobile music service in Japan, has served up its 200-millionth download a mere 11 months after reaching the 100-million download milestone, Billboard reports. It took the service, operated by mobile content provider Label Mobile, two-and-a-half years to get to the 100-million download mark.

What makes the number of full-track downloads even more impressive is that Chaku-Uta only has about 120,000 songs from 50 labels in its catalog.
