Before the holidays, Chipotle had an E.coli outbreak along the West Coast and random locations in the Northeast that had people very concerned.
E. coli caused severe illness for 50 patrons in 11 states. When another minor outbreak of E. coli broke out in mid-December, affecting five people in three states, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) got involved.
This week, they ended that involvement.
