Capitol File's Publisher Niche Media Acquired by Greengale Publishing
Greengale Publishing today announced that it has acquired Niche Media Holdings, the publisher of 11 regional lifestyle publications including Capitol File, from The Greenspun Corporation of Las Vegas, held by Janie Greenspun Gale and her siblings. Greengale is co-owned by Janie Greenspun Gale and Jeff Gale.
Katherine Nicholls who previously served as president and chief operating officer of Niche, will now serve as CEO.
Elizabeth Thorp, editor-in-chief of Capitol File, shared her excitement, referring to Janie as “fabulous.”
Nicholls said of the owners, “Their decades of experience in journalism, photography, and media, together with their commitment to community service will continue to shape our organization.”
