Capitol File Editor Leaves Mag for Washingtonian
Kate Bennett signed on as editor in chief of Capitol File magazine in late 2010. She resigned last week and is now working as the Wedding and Style editor at Washingtonian magazine.
The initial tip-off came as Bennett’s Twitter changed from “KateBennett_CF” to “KateBennett_DC” late last week.
A source at Capitol File tells us no one has taken Bennett’s place yet as editor and that Bennett didn’t want a lot of people knowing about the job change so soon.
We’ve reached out to Bennett for comment and will update if she responds.
