Candy Crush Saga dominates this week's list of fastest-growing Facebook games by MAU

King.com's Candy Crush Saga brought in 1.04 million new monthly active users this week, a 108 percent gain that secured the No. 1 spot on our list of fastest-growing Facebook games by MAU. King.com's other "Saga" games also saw significant gains this week. Bubble Witch Saga was up by 400,000 MAU for a 2 percent gain, taking the No. 4 spot. Hoop De Loop Saga increased by 5 percent with 300,000 MAU, securing the No. 5 spot. Finally, Bubble Saga was up by 100,000 MAU for a 1 percent gain, putting the game in the No. 16 spot. Disney Playdom's Marvel: Avengers Alliance continues to bring in new players. This week the title gained 4 percent with a 200,000 MAU increase. The Avengers film is due for release in just under two weeks, which means the movie's marketing campaign and licensing deals are reaching a fever pitch. Public awareness of the brand is incredibly high and it seems likely that Avengers Alliance will see gains like this for the next two to three weeks. Only two other games had gain percentages in the double digits. Peak Games' City of the Pyramids gained 200,000 MAU for a 10 percent increase.
