Do you have a passion for pop culture and Pantone? Entertainment Weekly is looking for a new art director to lead design direction for its website, EW.com. You’ll also be collaborating with the print design team to come up with a unified aesthetic for the brand.
The main focus of this position is to develop attractive and engaging Web page layouts, RIA interfaces and various mobile products. Of course, you can’t go completely buck wild — you’ll need to meet the needs of the editorial, ad sales and IT departments, too. However, this is a company where your creativity, team-player attitude and “Mad Men” obsession will be fully appreciated.
The ideal candidate has five years of experience designing large-scale, CSS websites with a background in magazine design. Knowledge of user-interface principles, SEO and Web product development are also must-haves. Interested? Round up your resume, references and online portfolio and apply here.
